Who is eligible for a medical marijuana card?
To become a medical marijuana patient in Massachusetts, you must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Be a Massachusetts resident
- Be diagnosed with a qualifying health condition by a certifying physician as having a debilitating medical condition
Medical Marijuana can support health and wellness in many ways. In Massachusetts, you must be diagnosed with one of the following conditions to receive a Medical Marijuana Card:

- HIV / AIDS
- Hepatitis C
- Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS)
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Parkinson's disease
- Other debilitating conditions as determined in writing by a certified physician
