Trulieve Celebrates Womens History Month

Celebrating Women’s History Month

Trulieve is proud to celebrate Women’s History Month in March! We’re celebrating the amazing contributions of women in our communities, leaders in our company, and pioneers in the cannabis industry nationwide. Our teams will take part in outreach and volunteer efforts throughout the month.

Through our National Partnership, Trulieve supports Women Grow in its mission to connect, educate, and empower women throughout all segments of the cannabis industry by hosting a four-part certification education series. Our Supplier Diversity Bootcamp is designed to prepare women for investment opportunities to achieve success in cannabis.

Local and regional organizations that Trulieve will be giving back to this month include:

Northeast

Partners of the Month include Heroic Gardens, which exists to help women veterans experience the healing power of nature through gardening and more. Also, YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh, who in their dedication to empowering women and eliminating racism, will sponsor the “Racial Justice Challenge” and “Action Conversations on Race,” a panel discussion featuring local experts and leaders in conversations designed to build community and create change.

Other areas will focus on food banks and nonprofits who support local families. In Massachusetts, these include Northampton Survival Center, Faith Tabernacle Church Pantry, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, Net of Compassion, and Pearl Street Cupboard. In Maryland, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Happy Helpers for the Homeless, Maryland Food Bank, and the Upcounty Hub. In West Virginia, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Mountaineer Food Bank, and Meals on Wheels. And in Connecticut, Brian's Angels Homeless Outreach.

Southwest

All month, Trulieve customers in Arizona will have the opportunity to “roll up” their purchases to the nearest dollar at the register to support Partners of the Month. One of these is Dress for Success Phoenix, empowering women toward economic independence with a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help them thrive in work and life. Trulieve is a Presenting Sponsor of the Tribute to Leadership Awards in March.

The next Register Rollup organization is YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix & Southern Arizona, dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. Teams will be taking part in their Stand Against Racism Challenge in April.

And finally, proceeds will go to Arizona Anti-Trafficking Network, whose mission is working together to stop the human trafficking of young girls and women in the state. Trulieve and is also contributing to their scholarship for a survivor of human trafficking.
