Compassion in Action: Small Change, Big Impact

This August, our register roll-up program supports Second Wind Dreams, a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the perception of aging and improving the quality of life for older adults, especially those in senior living communities and those affected by dementia. 

Patients and customers in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and Maryland can support this mission by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donating a specific amount at the register.

Second Wind Dreams signature Dreams Program grants personalized wishes and meaningful experiences for seniors living in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, and hospice settings. These special moments bring comfort, hope and happiness while reminding us that dreams do not fade with age. 

Beyond fulfilling thousands of dreams, Second Wind Dreams educates millions through dementia-awareness programs that help families, caregivers and communities better understand and support those living with dementia.

In recent months, Trulieve teams participated in more than 50 senior-focused events, including expos and health fairs, where they engaged with older adults, answered questions, and shared educational resources. Florida:

Trulieve is excited to be the presenting sponsor of I Give My Hug, a special community initiative held at 55+ senior living communities across Orlando and Kissimmee, Florida. Designed to foster meaningful connections, the program brings love, companionship, joy, and emotional well-being to senior residents through engaging and memorable experiences. The tour has visited 11 communities to date and will make its next stop in Kissimmee, Florida on August 10.

Through its Lunch & Learn series, the Trulieve Pennsylvania team empowers seniors with education, resources, and community connections. These interactive sessions cover wellness topics and provide cannabis education, helping older adults make informed decisions. To date, the team has hosted 10 Lunch & Learn events, expanding its reach and impact within senior communities across the state.
