Honoring Those Who Served: How Trulieve Supports Veterans
As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we honor the servicemembers whose courage and commitment to our nation helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today. This historic milestone is also an opportunity to recognize the sacrifices made by veterans and their families who have given so much in service to our country.
Trulieve is proud to stand alongside the veteran community, honoring their service and advocating for their well-being. Many veterans continue to navigate the physical, emotional, and psychological impacts of their service long after returning home. For countless veterans, cannabis has become part of their wellness journey, helping them manage conditions such as chronic pain, insomnia, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Trulieve is dedicated to ensuring veterans have access to safe cannabis products, educational resources, and compassionate support.
Partnerships with Veteran Organizations
Trulieve is committed to supporting veteran-focused organizations such as Paralyzed Veterans of America, Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports, The Independence Fund, and Stop Soldier Suicide. These groups provide programs and services that expand access to healthcare, employment resources, mental health support, and community connection for veterans and their families. Through our register roll-up campaigns, customers and patients can contribute directly to these efforts, helping raise critical funds that make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans nationwide.
Cannabis Awareness and Education Initiatives
Advancing awareness and education around medical cannabis helps veterans explore treatment options for service-related health challenges. Educational seminars and certification events provide information about available products, program eligibility, and pathways to accessing medical cannabis, empowering veterans to make informed choices about their health and wellness.
One initiative that has gained momentum in Florida this year is the Red, White & Blue Tour. The Grateful Veteran and Trulieve have partnered to bring this veteran-focused educational initiative to communities across the state. Hosted at trusted gathering places, including VFW posts and American Legion halls, the tour provides physician-led cannabis education and resources for veterans and their families. The tour is designed to expand access to information and strengthen connections within the veteran community.
Year to date, the tour has made six stops and provided more than 450 veterans with free medical cannabis certifications. The Red, White & Blue Tour continues throughout the remainder of the year, with additional stops planned across the state to reach and support even more veterans and their families.
Community Engagement and Advocacy
Trulieve actively supports veteran-focused community events that foster connection, education, and advocacy. In the first six months of this year, we supported over 45 veteran events across our markets, helping connect veterans and their families with valuable resources and support. With many more events planned, we remain committed to engaging with the veteran community. Below are veteran-focused events taking place in July.

Trulieve is proud to sponsor The Veterans Wellness Corner for the fourth consecutive year, providing a dedicated veteran resource and wellness area at the City of Pittsburgh's annual Independence Day celebration. The space connects veterans and their families with community organizations, wellness resources, and support services. It also offers a welcoming environment where veterans can take a break from the larger festivities and connect with fellow servicemembers.
This year, eight veteran-focused organizations were on site providing information and resources, along with free medical cannabis certifications for eligible veterans. Together, these offerings help strengthen community connections and expand access to care and support for the veteran community.
