Standing Together Against Breast Cancer: Trulieve’s Commitment to Patients & Survivors

Every Breast Cancer Awareness Month, pink ribbons and accents across communities nationwide remind us that the fight against breast cancer continues. At Trulieve, we think it’s also important to hear the voices of those affected—survivors and those still fighting the disease.

In dispensaries throughout our markets, we interact daily with patients affected by breast cancer whose stories of resilience inspire us and give hope to the millions facing breast cancer each year.

Among our team, survivors like Director of State Operations for Maryland Jennifer Glenn demonstrate the strength it takes to overcome and show us what our support can accomplish for patients and families. Putting this into action, Tampa-area General Manager Amanda Hingson draws on her own experiences combating the disease to help patients find relief. Jennifer and Amanda's stories, like countless others, are a critical reminder that behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a community impacted by breast cancer.

For us, breast cancer awareness is more than one month on the calendar. It’s about standing with survivors and ensuring that patients and families know they are not alone. As a cannabis company with dispensaries in hundreds of communities, we recognize the unique role we play by providing access to relief through trusted, medical-grade cannabis products and expert guidance.

It’s also reflected in our efforts to help fund research, treatment, and patient support by driving awareness, raising donations, and partnering with organizations making a difference.

Why It Matters for Cannabis & Community

The cannabis industry is built on providing access, engaging in advocacy, and operating with compassion for those who need the plant most. Supporting breast cancer awareness is an extension of those values. By partnering with national organizations like the Susan G. Komen® Breast Cancer Foundation, as well as local nonprofits like Check For A Lump and Libby’s Legacy who directly support patients in the communities we serve, we are helping bridge the gap between awareness, prevention, and treatment.

Through every roll-up donation, every specialty product, and every step walked, we are honoring survivors, remembering loved ones we have lost, and working together towards a future without breast cancer.
