Comfort, Care, and Cannabis: Supporting the Cancer Journey

National Cancer Survivor Month celebrates the strength and resilience of the more than 18 million cancer survivors in the United States, while raising awareness of the ongoing need for research, support, and improved quality of life during and after treatment. Many of the markets served by Trulieve allow patient qualification due to a cancer diagnosis or based on side effects of cancer or treatment.

Every Cent Counts: Roll Up for Cancer

Throughout June, Trulieve’s register roll up program benefits two impactful cancer organizations, The Singletons and Young Adult Survivors United. Patients and customers in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and Maryland can show their support by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donating a specific amount at the register. These organizations provide critical, community-driven support, helping cancer patients and survivors navigate their experience with greater strength, connection, and stability.

The Singletons: Supporting Single Parent Families with Cancer

The Singletons is a homegrown, Arizona-based nonprofit devoted to supporting single-parent families battling cancer by providing strength, hope, resources, and community. Founded in memory of Michelle Singleton, the organization focuses on easing everyday burdens these families face through services such as meal support, household essentials, financial assistance, and programs for children. Its mission is to help families maintain stability and feel supported, ensuring that no single parent with cancer has to face it alone.

Young Adult Survivors United: Helping Young Adults from Diagnosis to Survivorship

Young Adult Survivors United (YASU) is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults affected by cancer, along with their caregivers. Through meaningful connection, emotional support, and access to essential resources, YASU helps ease the unique challenges of a cancer diagnosis at a young age.

The YASU Young Adult Cancer Camp creates a safe, supportive space where young adults can come together to connect, heal, and grow. Through peer support, wellness activities, and shared experiences, campers build lasting friendships and rediscover hope beyond their diagnosis. Funds raised will directly support the 2026 YASU camp and its participants.
