Four years ago, we sold our first product to a patient and the safety of that Trulieve branded product was our top priority. That’s why since July of 2016, Trulieve has conducted rigorous testing to meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Our Product Safety Philosophy: Test and Test Again
All products are tracked from seed to sale and are triple tested before they reach the patient. Once products pass our internal standards, they are tested extensively by an ISO-17025 Accredited, USDA Compliant, DEA Registered, third-party laboratory, approved by The Florida Department of Health, which are the strictest testing protocols in the U.S. On June 25, 2020, new testing regulations were implemented in Florida that require all MMTCs to use certified laboratories, a process we have long maintained. As industry leaders, we support the other MMTCs joining the high testing standards we have provided to patients since 2016.

Our testing not only ensures the safety of our products, it also provides the patient with a breakdown of the product’s cannabinoid and terpene content. The level of THC is not always the most important element of cannabis. As whole plant medicine, the effects are the result of a combination of the content of the plant which create “the entourage effect.” Pay attention to the terpenes and the resulting effects, which will help guide you in choosing other products with similar terpene profiles, to reach your desired relief.
