The Future of Aging Services Starts with Connection

The Florida Conference on Aging is a multi-disciplinary conference held annually. FCOA is proud to partner with the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Florida Association of Aging Services Providers for this event. This event will be a four-person scramble held at Emerald Bay Golf Club in Destin, Florida, organized by the Kids on the Coast Foundation. Their vision is to create a stronger, more caring community where every child in Okaloosa and Walton County has the support, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive. Founded by AJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar, Kids on the Coast Foundation is committed to giving back to the communities that have supported us for generations.

By working directly with local schools, educators, and community leaders, we strive to identify and meet the unique needs of local youth on a personal level, providing assistance, encouragement, and hope when it is needed most. Through meaningful relationships and community partnerships, we aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families across the Emerald Coast.

Surfers for Autism is a 501c3 non profit that provides free surf lessons for children and adults with autism and other related development delays.

The Surfers for Autism mission: Unlocking the potential of children and adults with autism, building awareness and uniting communities through volunteerism.

Key West Lobsterfest 2026 runs Wednesday, August 5th through Sunday, August 9th. This annual event celebrates the opening of Florida’s spiny lobster season with a five-day island-wide festival, centered on Duval Street and select historic venues.

The festival combines culinary traditions, live music, and family-friendly activities, making it one of Key West’s signature summer events.

The Duval Street Fair from Noon – 11:00 PM, transforming the 100–500 blocks of Duval Street into a pedestrian-only festival with local artisans, cold beverages, and lobster prepared in creative styles. The day concludes with a free live concert at 8:00 PM featuring The Durtbags, Just George, Tim Hollohan, and Jordan Oaks.

Portal is a cannabis-friendly yoga and wellness event at Rescue Me Wellness that offers a curated, immersive experience focused on relaxation, connection, and mindful living. Guests participate in an all-level outdoor yoga class led by Lakshmi, followed by access to sauna, cold plunge, and spa amenities. The event concludes with a sound bath and breathwork session led by founder Lisa Ritter.

This community initiative features a series of 10 educational events hosted throughout June and early July 2026 within 55+ senior living communities across Orlando and Kissimmee.

In partnership with Miracle Leaf, each session will provide clear guidance on Trulieve's variety of products, qualifying conditions and the process of obtaining a medical marijuana card.

The program will also highlight cancer by exploring the potential role cannabis may play in symptom management and enhancing quality of life.

Our goal is to educate, empower, and support residents through meaningful, informative conversations in a welcoming environment.

The Summer West Virginia Tattoo Expo is here! Located at the Morgantown Event Center, the expo will run August 21th – 23th, 2026.

There will be on-site tattooing and piercing from over 200 artists, multitudes of vendors, contests, a Miss Tattooed West Virginia pageant, and more! This will be the premier tattoo event in the state.

In addition to the live tattooing and entertainment, the expo will feature an on-site art gallery showcasing artwork for display and sale from attending tattoo artists and talented local artists.

Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer (formerly It’s the Journey) is a local nonprofit established in 2002 by breast cancer survivor Randi Passoff. Inspired by the Avon 3‑Day Breast Cancer Walk, Randi envisioned a gentler, more welcoming event – and so launched the Georgia 2‑Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Rather than walking 60 miles over three days and camping out, participants now walk 30 miles across two days and stay in hotels. Best of all, every dollar raised here in Georgia stays in Georgia, supporting local survivors and initiatives.
