Cultivating Justice: Voices of Impact and Reform

Cultivating Justice: Voices of Impact and Reform

July 2026 Recap

Trulieve supports restorative justice efforts by organizations that help address the lasting impacts of cannabis prohibition on individuals and communities. Through partnerships with  MISSION [GREEN] and The Redemption Foundation, patients and customers contributed to initiatives focused on re-entry support, commissary assistance, clemency, pardons, and record expungement. Together, these measures advance reform and promote a more equitable future for those affected by past cannabis convictions.

Cultivating Justice: Voices of Impact and Reform

Restorative justice seeks to repair the harm caused by cannabis prohibition, which disproportionately impacts marginalized communities through arrests, incarceration, and limited economic opportunity. Action includes providing commissary funds and re-entry assistance as well as clemency, pardons, and record expungement for those with cannabis convictions. While cannabis laws continue to evolve, many individuals and families face the lasting consequences of nonviolent cannabis convictions. Restorative justice aims to close that gap.

Trulieve is proud to partner with MISSION [GREEN] and The Redemption Foundation and support their efforts to advocate for meaningful systemic reform. In July, patients and customers in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and Maryland can contribute to these organizations by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donating a specific amount at the register. In Pennsylvania, patients can support The Redemption Foundation’s Commissary Program by scanning the in-store QR code to make a direct donation. Every contribution helps advance cannabis justice reform and builds a more fair and equitable future for those affected by past cannabis criminalization.

Spare Change for Lasting Change

Donations collected during our January Register Roll-Up helped fund over 200 commissary accounts through The Redemption Foundation’s Commissary Program. This initiative ensures incarcerated individuals have funds to call family members and access to essential everyday items.  This support not only improves quality of life for those serving time but also alleviates the financial burden on families who often struggle to send money consistently.
