Virtual Consultations FAQs

How do I sign up? 
Sign up for a Virtual Consultation with a Trulieve Certified Consultant online by clicking here. Select your dispensary location and click the Virtual Consultation link. This will bring you to an appointment page to book your consultation. You’ll be able to choose a time and date that work best for you. All available days/times will be shown. Please note that Virtual Consultations must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to ensure we can accommodate each patient’s consultation and prepare for your personalized experience. 
Does this cost anything? 
There is no cost whatsoever for a Virtual Consultation at Trulieve, and purchase is not a condition of a Virtual Consultation session.  
How is my appointment confirmed? 
After selecting your preferred time and date for your Virtual Consultation, you will receive an email confirming your appointment. You will also receive an email notification 24 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled consultation.  
Can I reschedule my appointment if needed? 
If you need to reschedule your Virtual Consultation, select the “Change Your Appointment” option found at the bottom of your email confirmation.  
Will I be penalized for canceling my appointment? 
There is not a penalty for canceling your appointment for a Virtual Consultation. In consideration of other patients, we ask that you cancel your Virtual Consultations at least two hours prior to the appointment time.  
How long will my appointment be? 
Each Virtual Consultation is 30 minutes. If additional time is needed, you can select multiple appointments as they are available.  
Am I limited to one appointment only? 
There is no limit to the number of Virtual Consultations a patient can book. New products are released frequently and there is always something new to learn. We’re always here to help make cannabis comfortable for you.  
What can I hope to learn from this appointment? 
The beginning of any journey can be the most difficult. Virtual Consultations are designed to help you get comfortable with cannabis, so you can be well on your way to relief. Once you book an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment information. Also included in that confirmation, is a link to a patient intake form. This form will provide your Certified Consultant with additional insight into ways that we can tailor the experience to meet your needs. 

How knowledgeable will my Certified Consultant be? What kinds of questions will I be able to ask? 
All Trulieve Certified Consultants in the Virtual Consultation program have been trained and certified to help navigate you through questions on product and devices, review your doctor's recommendation, an explanation of each route of administration, as well as how you can make the most of being a Truliever. 
All levels of cannabis education are welcome to be a part of our Virtual Consultations! 

Who will be my Virtual Consultant?  
The name of the Trulieve Certified Consultant that will guide you through the Virtual Consultation will be available in your profile upon login. All Certified Consultants in the program are highly trained and exceptionally compassionate.  

My confirmation link shows the meeting will happen on Microsoft Teams. Do I need to have Microsoft Teams downloaded? Do I need to have a Microsoft email or account to access a Virtual Consultation? 
You will not need to have a Microsoft account or Office365 email to take part in our Virtual Consultations. Included in your confirmation email will be a link to join into your Virtual Consultation via your web browser. If you are unfamiliar with joining a Microsoft Teams meeting, don’t worry! Your confirmation email will include a link with step-by-step instructions on how to join a Microsoft Teams meeting. 
Will I get a notification to remind me about my appointment? 
Yes, you will also receive a notification 24 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled consultation.   
Can I place an order after/during my appointment?  
Yes! Your Certified Consultant can help identify the products that may be the best option for you. If your application has been approved by the State and you have open orders for your recommendation, we can create a pickup order and hold it for you for a maximum of 24 hours.  

Will I be able to use my cell phone for the Virtual Consultation? 
Cell phones can be used to access a Microsoft Teams meeting, but depending on your cell phone manufacturer you may need to download the Microsoft Teams App. If you plan to join your Virtual Consultation by cell phone, we recommend testing the Microsoft Teams link in your appointment confirmation email before your appointment time. No applications need to be downloaded during a Virtual Consultation on a laptop or desktop.  
If the call drops, can I enter back into the appointment? 
Yes. Once you have started your appointment, it is yours! If the call drops, simply use the link in your confirmation email or refresh once the signal has been restored.  
Why do I need to complete the intake form? Is this required? 
The intake form is used by the Trulieve Certified Consultant for your Virtual Consultation. The intake designed to help better identify what you are curious about and to help have answers ready prior to the start of your appointment. Any information you share on the intake form will be kept confidential. It is optional to complete the intake form.
