Who Is Eligible for a Medical Marijuana Card?

To become a cannabis patient in Ohio, you must:

Be a legal resident of Ohio
Be an adult (age 18+) who has one or more of the diseases specified in the law; or
Be a legal guardian of an adult who has one or more of the diseases specified in the law; or
Be a parent or legal guardian of a minor child who has one or more of the diseases specified in the law

Qualifying Health Conditions

Medical cannabis can support health and wellness in many ways. In Ohio, you must be diagnosed with one of the following conditions to receive a Medical Marijuana Card:

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
Alzheimer’s disease
Cachexia
Cancer
Chronic traumatic encephalopathy
