This holiday season, we are proud to support local senior-focused organizations across the country through fundraising initiatives, educational events, service projects, and a national socks and blankets donation drive.

Why It Matters for Seniors

Many older adults face increased isolation and food insecurity during the holidays, which is why this December we paired register round-ups benefiting community food banks with a national socks and blankets drive to create simple actions with local impact that support seniors’ dignity, comfort, and well-being.

How You Can Support Seniors This December

Together, we can honor our seniors and help make a positive impact in their lives. Join us throughout December by rounding up purchases at the register, donating socks and blankets, or volunteering in your community.

Register Round-Up

To help seniors suffering from food disparity this holiday season, Trulieve joined forces with local food bank organizations in our communities, many of which can stretch a $1 donation to cover between four and ten nutritious meals.

During December, customers and patients in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and Maryland can round up their purchases at checkout with the proceeds going to support local food banks in each state.

“We are grateful to have a partner in Trulieve who is empowering our community to help make a difference in the lives of seniors,” said Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida Events Specialist Keshia Sutton. “Every donation truly makes a difference in the lives of our neighbors facing hunger.”

Making Holidays Extra Warm

All month long, Trulieve will collect socks and blankets as a simple way to bring comfort and joy to local senior centers in our communities. To participate, drop off new socks and blankets at any Trulieve location nationwide. From there, we will deliver donations to local senior centers in each community to distribute among the older adults they serve.
