CBN, also known as cannabinol, is a mildly psychoactive compound best known as the cannabinoid created as THC ages, often found in trace amounts. CBN has a mild psychoactive response, not as much as a full THC dose, but much more than CBD. 

With potential anti-inflammatory benefits, CBN has several therapeutic properties that have been studied and tested for its application. For example, CBN is primarily notable for its relaxing qualities. Also, this cannabinoid is ideally used for relieving insomnia, sleep apnea, sleeping disorders, PTSD-related symptoms, glaucoma, appetite issues as well as other illnesses and diseases. Studies have shown that its sedative effects are improved when mixed with other cannabinoids. When different cannabinoids interact, it’s known as the entourage effect. In addition, CBN may allow those with higher THC tolerances to still achieve desired outcomes without the psychoactive "high" resulting from products high in THC.
